Devlog Week03: Final prototype phase


Prototype adjustments:

- Players: Each player can connect to up to 2 other players with a net. The player can now hold a weapon.


-Enemy: Crab enemies are alive and well! They are walking from point to point, but when they spot you they attack and chase you.

-Environmental change: When the timer runs out and lightning starts striking the island! Try to collect food while evading those lightning strikes.


- Net: Improvements were made: The net is no longer physics based, but uses a rigged model now.

-UI: some small UI things were added: players can see how much health they have and which player they are. A timer for the lightning strikes is added and you can see your team score now.

First Draft of the art

This sprint we tried to see if our workflow is fast enough to produce many assets in time. The first thing we did was adding a gradient base before we started handpainting everything to see if the gradients are enough.

We also checked if we could make the level really quick in Houdini to see if we could use this workflow in cooperation with max

Oh and we made a character!
